I was invited to the Glorious Ferrer Glorious Bites Appetizer Challenge in New York City over the weekend. Gloria Ferrer has teamed up with Brooke Williamson from Top Chef to discover the best appetizer around the country. The semi finals were held at the ICE Culinary Institute where there was food and bottles popping all night long.
Gloria Ferrer is one of my favorite sparkling wines. I discovered it at Astor Wines when it was on sale and recommended by the staff. This winery was the first sparkling wine house in Sonoma Carneros. Their wines are made using the champagne method, so their bottles packed with delicious bubbles.
It was a fun and delicious evening. If you haven't tried Gloria Ferrer wines, you are missing some serious magick in a bottle. I give them a BIG thumbs up!
